Joel Leong

(Co-Founder, ShopBack)

One of the co-founders of ShopBack, Joel currently oversees merchant development and country management. Since launching in 2014, ShopBack has grown to become the leading rewards and discovery platform in Asia-Pacific backed by investors like Temasek, Softbank Ventures Asia, Rakuten, East Ventures among others. ShopBack operates across 10 markets in Southeast Asia, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan and most recently Hong Kong.

Prior to ShopBack, Joel began his career at the Singapore Economic Development Board before driving growth at ZALORA as the Regional Head of Partnerships. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore.
